I often get asked what is recruitment marketing.
Recruitment marketing can be lots of things. What it is mostly, most of the time, is attracting candidates to jobs. Because that’s the majority
of what we do.
And outside of that, people will tell you: “Yeah, well, we also have to brand ourselves, we have to get some kind of messaging out there that lets people learn that we’re good recruiters”.
I think – although I accept that I may be a little bit biased – that the easiest and most effective way to demonstrate your ability as a recruiter is to write good job ads. Because you’re doing the job, live, in a meaningful way, rather than just telling people that you’re: “passionate about recruitment”.
